It does this by blocking a natural enzyme in your body called phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE5), which typically inhibits another substance that is responsible for erections (cyclic guanosine monophosphate – cGMP).

The intake of Cialis can give you a durable and robust erection so long as your body tolerates the drug well (8). So, while Cialis does make you bigger by helping you reach an erect state, it is only doing so through your body’s natural mechanisms.
